Friends of Highclere Book Club
Highclere Castle’s Library is one of the most famous libraries on screen. Many scenes from Downton Abbey have taken place within the warmth and harmony of this room.
There are over 6,000 books within our Library. It isa room of both reassurance and the perfect setting for our friends of Highclere book club.
For Everyone who loves books, join me for a convivial evening once a month in the Castle. Enjoy a glass of champagne or perhaps a cup of tea, delicious sandwiches and tour the State Rooms with one of our knowledgeable guides.
Settle down in the library as I discuss my latest read alongside my guest of the evening on the famous red sofas.
We have had many marvellous authors join us in the past from Victoria Hislop,
Santa Montefiore, Tim Marshall, Lydia Millen and Liz Earle to name a few.
