I am hoping to be in the Monks Garden this week with a few dog friends. We have records of this garden from 1216 but believe there was some sort of garden here many years before this time. The garden has a wonderful yew arch running through the centre of it which was planted in the 18th century. The original garden was planted with practical ingredients to supply the house with fresh produce.
