Our guest for Book Club in September was a wonderful and fascinating friend, Colleen Darnell. Colleen is an American Egyptologist, whose expertise includes Late Period uses of the Underworld Books. She is a regular contributor to Nat Geo’s “Lost Treasures of Egypt” (streaming on Disney+).
Her latest book "Egypt's Golden Couple" highlights an extraordinary Pharaoh and his wife. Akhenaten was also the father of Tutankhamun and Nefertiti remains today an icon for her beauty, still inspiring our imagination, films and books.
