The Archive Friends’ Gallery The Private Album

Never seen before

The Archive Room

Highclere’s archives hold letters, photographs, plans and papers that have never been looked at since they were filed away, some for more than a century. Our archivist is opening the boxes, and everything found is shared here with Friends first.

“Every week I open a box no one has touched in decades. I never know what we will find, that is rather the point.”

The Highclere Archivist
