Hello From The Earl & Countess Carnarvon

We would like to wish you a very warm welcome to Friends of Highclere Castle which we have established as a club and a community for all those of us who love this special place. We have been working on this project for some time to bring the Castle and its treasures to all of you irrespective of whether you are able to visit us in person.

We have put together a series of magical, previously unseen private tours, curated by us personally. As well as an array of completely new rooms and places to discover. We do of course also cover the State rooms that have become so well-known through Downton Abbey but with the addition of secrets from the past provided by my husband’s family.

Whether you feel like exploring part of the stunning 5,000 acre landscape, wish to take a virtual 3D tour of previously unseen rooms or marvel at the ceiling in the Music Room, you will experience a wonderful journey, infused in history, through a series of beautifully produced 3D or 2D tours.
